ACD Session No: 404 : Nurturing Critical Thinking
“There are no facts only interpretations.” (Nietzsche). Critical thinking plays vital role in visualizing the world through multiple perspectives. However, students usually find it difficult to think critically in simple situations. In order to create this skill in learners teachers need to be trained through activities and ideas. Therefore, this Academic session aims at helping teachers develop their students’ critical thinking to visualize the world with varieties of perspectives. The session will be interactive through activities, discussions, case studies and group exercises.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to;
- Cognize a basic understanding of perspectives
- Understand how to view and present one text from multiple perspectives
