33rd Annual ELT Conference will be conducted on 28th of October, 2017
The Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers (SPELT) is a voluntary organization that has been working for the professional development of English language teachers in Pakistan since 1984. Upon the completion of its first year of existence, SPELT held its first International Conference, and it has continued with this tradition ever since. The conference has grown from about 100 participants, at the beginning, to about 3500 participants in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to the 32nd SPELT international ELT Conference “Expanding ELT Horizons”.
The SPELT International Conference is a distinctive platform where presentations and workshops conducted by national and international experts provide excellent opportunities to educationists, classroom practitioners, teachers, researchers, textbook writers, and material developers for their professional growth and development. The incorporation of the “Leadership Strand” in the conference proceedings has added value for institutional and departmental heads and administrators, while “Information Technology in Education” has been introduced to keep teachers updated about contemporary needs and strategies. SPELT, thus, provides a platform to all participants for broadening their professional horizons, effective networking, and the acquisition of technical skills.
SPELT welcomes participation from all interested presenters. For this, abstracts for the 32nd SPELT International Conference are hereby being solicited from all those interested in sharing their thoughts, ideas, expertise, and/ or research with the conference participants, at one or more conference venues. The last date for the submission of the abstracts is July 1st, 2017.
